2nd SINE SIKLAB – Awards 2020

We present the list of winners of the SINE SIKLAB 2020 which took place online from August 3rd – 8th (2020) and was organized by 24 Frames.

About the festival:
Sine Siklab offers a digital film competition module open to all students and youth nationwide. In its 2nd year, with the current theme “BURN BRIGHTER”, Siklab aims to bring out the brightest version of filmmakers across the country by providing them a platform to raise their voice and shine light on issues that make us better people in these times of pandemic and crisis. The festival is organized by 24 Frames, a student film organization of CIIT College of Arts and Technology (Philippines).

I would like to thank 24 Frames and Festival Director, Josh Roque, for letting me be part of this great experience. As a Jury Member I was able to enjoy a rich programme with a wide range of topics and genres. I was really impressed by the quality of the films and the way they approached social issues. I also had a blast being a speaker at a MASTERCLASS organized by the festival. There I was able to meet Rudoph Alamo Festival Director of the Mindanao Film Festival along with Mike Nikko Tandugon, Gian Arre, Gualbertsan Sual and Jermaine Tulbo (directors of some of the films). Overall, I have to say I really enjoyed being part of the festival, the communication with the organizers was great and there were no issues while watching the films. Finally, I would like to congratulate the directors, actresses & actors, crew members and the audience for their support. – Sebastián Nadilo
