Dear Asian filmmakers, the Animatricks International Animation Festival (Finland) is accepting animated films until February 12, 2023.

About the festival:
Animatricks is a three-day festival and a meeting point for animation professionals and fans, held in the heart of Helsinki, Finland. As the only animation film festival in the country, Animatricks has been presenting new Finnish and international animation since 2000. Now for the first time, alongside with the competition for Finnish animated shorts, Animatricks launches an international competition.

Eligibility:
– The festival accepts films applying all animation techniques.
– Over 50% of the production must be animated.
– Films must have been completed after January 1, 2021.
– Films should not exceed length of 30 minutes (including opening and final credits).
– Films submitted to earlier editions of the Animatricks festival are not eligible for re-entry.
– Advertisement films are not accepted. Also animated TV-series and their episodes are not accepted into the competition.
– Films must have English subtitles if they are not in English or without dialogue.
– Submission Fee: FREE
– Deadline: February 12, 2023
– Notification Date: March 2023
